Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your Hidden Camera Scan Detector account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Open Hidden Camera Scan Detector and sign in.
Go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@ataforge.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We verify ownership and process the request on your behalf.

What gets deleted

Your account record (name and email address provided via Apple or Google sign-in).
Your subscription / purchase link and free-scan usage counters.
Your device push-notification token.
All active sessions are revoked immediately.

Scan results, reports, and location data are stored only on your device (in an encrypted local database) and are never uploaded to our servers. Removing the app, or using its in-app history controls, deletes that local data.

Timing & retention

When you request deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel by signing back in. After 30 days the account and its data are permanently erased. We retain no copies afterwards, except where a longer retention period is required by law (e.g. tax or transaction records held by our payment processors).
